SCHOOL CALENDAR 2025-2026

IMPORTANT TMC DATES: CLOSURES & HOLIDAYS

The full year at TMC consists of 36 lessons/events. Some months may have 3 lessons where others may have 4 or 5 lessons. Holidays and school closures are all taken into account and everyone receives the same amount of lessons over the year. Our annual tuition is $890 for 36 lessons/events ($24.72 x 36 = $890) and payment is divided equally over 10 months.

 

SEPTEMBER 2025

  • First week of Music Lessons:

    • Saturday Sept 6th​

    • Friday (TMC is not open Fridays)

  • ROCK U

    • Mon Orientation Class Sept 15th / First Rehearsal Mon Sept 29th

    • Tues Orientation Class Sept 16th / First Rehearsal Tues Oct 7th

    • Wed Orientation Class Sept 17th / First Rehearsal Wed Oct 8th

    • Thurs Orientation Class Sept 18th / First Rehearsal Thurs Oct 9th

  • School Closure:

    • Tuesday Sept 30th Truth & Reconciliation Day

OCTOBER 2025

  • School Closures:

    • Closed Saturday Oct 11th, Sunday Oct 12th & Monday Oct 13th for Thanksgiving

NOVEMBER 2025

  • School Closures:

    • Tuesday November 11th for Remembrance Day

DECEMBER 2025

  • School Closures:

    • ​Closed beginning Wednesday December 17th and lessons will start again Saturday Jan 3rd, 2026

JANUARY 2026

  • Lessons Resume after Winter Break Saturday January 3rd, 2026

  • School Closures:

    • There are no other closures in January after Winter Break​

FEBRUARY 2026

  • School Closures:

    • Monday Feb 16th Louis Riel Day​

MARCH 2026

  • School Closures:

    • TMC is closed for Spring Break & Easter beginning Saturday March 28 and lessons will start again Monday April 6th 2026

APRIL 2026

  • School Closures:

    • Closed as of Wednesday April 1st through to Sunday April 5th for Spring Break​/Easter

    • Friday April 3rd (Good Friday)

    • Saturday April 4th (Easter Holiday)

    • Sunday April 5th (Easter Sunday)

MAY 2026

  • Early Registration Begins May 15th

  • School Closures:

    • ​​Closed beginning Wednesday May 13th for extended Long Weekend, and lessons begin again Wednesday May 20th

JUNE 2026

  • Last Day of Lessons (Lesson #35):

    • Wednesday June 10th is the last day of lessons for Wednesday students (Lesson #35)

    • Thursday June 11th is the last day of lessons for Thursday students (Lesson #35)

    • Saturday June 13th is the last day of lessons for Saturday students (Lesson #35)

    • Sunday June 14th is the last day of lessons for Sunday students (Lesson #35)

    • Monday June 15th is the last day of lessons for Monday students (Lesson #35)

    • Tuesday June 16th is the last day of lessons for Tuesday students (Lesson #35)
