SCHOOL CALENDAR 2024-2025

IMPORTANT TMC DATES

The full year at TMC consists of 36 lessons/events. Some months may have 3 lessons where others may have 4 or 5 lessons. Holidays and school closures are all taken into account and everyone receives the same amount of lessons over the year. Our annual tuition is $870 for 36 lessons/events ($24.17 x 36 = $870.12) and payment is divided equally over 10 months.

 

SEPTEMBER 2024

  • First week of Music Lessons:

    • Saturday Sept 7th​

    • Sunday Sept 8th

    • Monday Sept 9th

    • Tuesday Sept 10th

    • Wednesday Sept 11th

    • Thursday Sept 12th

    • Friday (TMC is not open Fridays)

  • School Closure:

    • Monday Sept 30th Truth & Reconciliation Day

OCTOBER 2024

  • School Closures:

    • Closed Sunday Oct 13th & Monday Oct 14th for Thanksgiving

    • Closed Thursday Oct 31st for Halloween

NOVEMBER 2024

  • School Closures:

    • Monday November 11th for Remembrance Day

DECEMBER 2024

  • School Closures:

    • ​Closed as of Tuesday December 17th through to Saturday January 4th for Winter Break

  • Classes resume Sunday Jan 5th 2025

JANUARY 2024

  • Lessons Resume after Winter Break Sunday January 5th, 2025

  • School Closures:

    • There are no other closures in January after Winter Break​

FEBRUARY 2025

  • School Closures:

    • Monday Feb 17th Louis Riel Day​

MARCH 2025

  • School Closures:

    • There are no school closures in March

APRIL 2025

  • School Closures:

    • Closed as of Tuesday April 1st through to Sunday April 6th for Spring Break​

    • Friday April 18th (Good Friday)

    • Saturday April 19th (Easter Holiday)

    • Sunday April 20th (Easter Sunday)

MAY 2025

  • Early Registration Begins May 15th

  • School Closures:

    • ​​Closed as of Saturday May 17th through to Wednesday May 21st (for extra long weekend)

  • Lessons resume on Thursday May 22nd

JUNE 2025

  • Last Day of Lessons (Lesson #35):

    • Saturday June 7th is the last day of lessons for Saturday students (Lesson #35)

    • Sunday June 15th is the last day of lessons for Sunday students (Lesson #35)

    • Monday June 23rd is the last day of lessons for Monday students (Lesson #35)

    • Tuesday June 10th is the last day of lessons for Tuesday students (Lesson #35)

    • Wednesday June 11th is the last day of lessons for Wednesday students (Lesson #35)

    • Thursday June 12th is the last day of lessons for Thursday students (Lesson #35)
