SCHOOL CALENDAR 2026-2027 COMING SOON

IMPORTANT TMC DATES: CLOSURES & HOLIDAYS

2026-2027 CALENDAR: The full year at TMC consists of 35 lessons/events. Some months may have 3 lessons where others may have 4 or 5 lessons. Holidays and school closures are all taken into account and everyone receives the same amount of lessons over the year. 

 

SEPTEMBER 2026

  • First week of Music Lessons:

    • Wednesday Sept 9th

    • Thursday Sept 10th

    • Friday (TMC is not open Fridays)

    • Saturday Sept 12th

    • Sunday September 13th

    • Monday September 14th

    • Tuesday Sept 15th

  • ROCK U

    • Mon Orientation Class & First Day of Rehearsals TBA

    • Thurs Orientation Class & First Day of Rehearsals TBA

  • School Closure:

    • Wednesday Sept 30th Truth & Reconciliation Day

OCTOBER 2026

  • School Closures:

    • Closed Saturday Oct 10th, Sunday Oct 11th & Monday Oct 12th for Thanksgiving

NOVEMBER 2026

  • School Closures:

    • Wednesday November 11th for Remembrance Day

DECEMBER 2026

  • School Closures:

    • ​Closed beginning Tuesday December 15th through to Saturday Jan 2nd 2027 and lessons will start again Sunday Jan 3rd, 2027

JANUARY 2027

  • Lessons Resume after Winter Break Sunday January 3rd, 2027

  • School Closures:

    • There are no other closures in January after Winter Break​

FEBRUARY 2027

  • School Closures:

    • Reading Week: Monday Feb 15th through to Friday Feb 19th, lessons start again Saturday Feb 20th

MARCH 2027

  • Sunday Mar 21 - ROCK U @ SideStage

    • Concert Times TBD

    • Tickets on Sale Mid-Feb 2027

  • School Closures:

    • TMC is closed for Spring Break & Easter beginning Thursday March 25th through to Sunday April 4th and lessons will start again Monday April 5th 2027

    • Friday March 26th (Good Friday) 

    • Saturday March 27th (Easter Holiday) 

    • Sunday March 28th (Easter Sunday)

APRIL 2027

  • School Closures:

    • Closed as of Thursday April 1st through to Sunday April 4th for Spring Break​/Easter

    • Classes resume Monday April 5th

MAY 2027

  • Early Registration for current students begins Saturday May 15th

  • School Closures:

    • ​​Closed beginning Thursday May 20th through to Tuesday May 25th for extended Long Weekend, and lessons begin again Wednesday May 26th

JUNE 2027

  • Registration Opens for New Students June 15th

  • Last Day of Lessons 

    • Sunday June 13th is the last day of lessons for Sunday students

    • Monday June 14th is the last day of lessons for Monday students 

    • Tuesday June 15th is the last day of lessons for Tuesday students

    • Wednesday June 16th is the last day of lessons for Wednesday students

    • Thursday June 17th is the last day of lessons for Thursday students 

    • Saturday June 18th is the last day of lessons for Saturday students
